Our Mission

The Female Leadership Society is an advocating platform that empowers emerging women leaders - MBA and EMBA graduates - in their career journey through intergenerational exchange, anchored by mentorship model, and by delivering impactful initiatives across three pillars:

Why a Female Leadership Society matters in today’s Swiss society and beyond

Switzerland currently ranks 17th in global gender parity (WEF, 2025), with only 22% of leadership roles held by women. Research shows that gender diverse teams make better decisions - especially in complex business situations. Achieving inclusion requires not just private sector policy making, but also public sector cooperation to help professionals balance personal life and career growth. Well-being and flexible work environments are also key to achieve this.

Studies also show that when women and men join women’s communities, their career progression and visibility increase. In fact, women tend to build naturally generous, referral-based networks and thus create value and trust, which reflects one of our core drivers at FLS.

The Female Leadership Society aims to strengthen the progressiveness of Swiss society by supporting our members and building an empowering community. We foster MBA and EMBA professional connections and provide emotional support to help women achieve their leadership career goals. We are great hosts fostering connections where magic happens.
